Beer and Politics: What Could be Better?

Melissa will provide a legislative update for Maryland and on the Federal level. She will discuss current and pending legislation, including the crisis pregnancy center disclaimer bill (MD), the Teen Protection Pilot Program (MD), the Prevention Through Affordable Access Act (Fed), the Allard amendment(Fed), and the Child Custody Protection Act (Fed) If you are curious about anything in particular, send her an e-mail so she can be sure to have all your answers.
The legislative briefing will happen between 6 and 8, but happy hour prices last all night long, so stay as long as you want! This event is 21+.
Not sure how to get there? The Quarry House is Metro accessible via the Red Line. For UMD students or those of you in the College Park area, there is a free bus from Stamp to Silver Spring. Also there is free parking at the Wayne Street Garage if you leave after 8.
